Description
Another original design that I had been wanting to bring to life for some time now. I was hoping to find a name for them, but that never happened so I'm simply going with 'creature' for now.He stands at about 11 inches tall and measures about 17 inches long. He's made of minky and while this one has felt eyes new Creatures will have machine embroidered ones. He has a full wire armature which makes him fully posable as pictured. Although he is pictured standing on two legs in one picture be can't actually do that on his own, his tail is propping him up against the wall ahah.

Oh, the stitching on the side of his face is a defect,one one of the reasons he's staying with me as my prototype. It won't be present in future creatures

I still haven't fully calculated his cost, but he's probably gonna end up around the $200 mark since the wiring adds a lot of work to him compared to my normal plushies

I'm so baffled at how someone would ever go about making an armature for a plush in a way that wouldn't crush. I've run a bunch of scenarios through my head and can't pin point a way that the wires wouldn't deform. Is it how well you stuffed it that could keep it stable?
I certainly don't want to steal your secrets but is it something as simple as the type/amount of stuffing you use?

The armature isn't very detailed, but is made with 18 gauge wire that's strong enough to not get bent out of shape simply be being in the plush. The wires deforming a bit is inevitable after a while, but he's stuffed pretty firmly so the stuffing prevents it from getting too bent out of shape.
