Bagbean plush!! Gosh this guy is such a cutie! ;w;Milo measures a little over 13" tall from the top of his head to the ground, and about 15" including the hair spikes. He's made out of PRINTED MINKY!! With machine embroidered eyes. I forgot to take a picture of it but his bag is functional and closes with a snap!

Printed Minky ReviewSo I recently got the chance to play with printed minky! Here's a sort of review about it

Price: $28/yrd. Very expensive, but for a very versatile product of this quality it's definitely justified.
Shipping: Only $6 to Canada, with tracking, took about a week and a half to arrive once shipped, no duties. A+
File prep: spoonflower has very simple requirements that are easy to follow. I scanned my pattern pieces, cleaned them up and colored them, then I copied them into a file that was set to spoonflower's specifications (150dpi, set to the width of minky. I added length as I needed it). To make sure my pieces were going to turn out the right size I drew a 1"x1" square on my pattern before scanning and used that with photoshop's rulers to scale my pieces to the right size.Β
Print Quality: Excellent. Very clean and crisp print. Not a hair of minky out of place. Colors accuracy exceeded my expectations. As it's been said by other artists, because of the wa

I just got Milo today /;w;/
Printed minky is still just as soft, so he is super cuddly >w<
And he is much larger than I expected! He is the same size as Malifore and Valhalla, just he's wider, and looks like a big baby
His arms and tail are slightly floopy, which I love~Β
All in all, as the customer, I am super pleased with my first printed minky plush from Magna~ :'D Would definitely recommened to those considering purchasing one
I will definitely get my other Beans in this style later ^^

I'd really like to! I guess it's going to depend on my commissioners though ahah. I made a print-ready base for my Wolpertingers though, so I may sketch up a bunch of different designs and see if anyone would want them made into a plush. I'd also love to make a plush of my Grem2 now that I can handle her subtle gradients, but odds of making something for myself are super low xDΒ

I don't care if others think this is unprofessional or whatever, the color accuracy and well developed pattern is stunning
You and every other artist I see using printed minky/fabric amaze me
combing 2d and 3d talents to make something original and one of a kind (cause I doubt you would use make another one of this guy XD)Β
And even if you did the same method on another bagbean it's no different than using the same pattern for a plush with the same base shapeΒ
It's still gonna take your time and talent to draw the details and make them "flat" to lie on the pattern and hope it's all lined up perfectlyΒ
I applaud you for trying a new method that a lot of people aren't aware of and executing it fabulously
