Maybe I translated something incorrectly, but this was meant to be a request-drawing for another person.

I tried to apologize for taking too long. I came down with "art block", and I was not feeling good enough to draw(at that time).

A few days later, someone else on Pixiv took what I drew, made a new drawing of it, and finished it themselves.
(They did not copy the actual artwork, but they copied the idea I came up with on my own.)

That preview-image I sent was NOT intended to be used as a way to get someone else to finish the drawing.
It was only intended to get the requester's approval to continue working.

This event effectively got rid of my motivation for finishing this piece. Things were finally starting to look up, shading seemed to be better than usual, and I had some ideas for how to do some filtering to make it look like she was underwater, as well as some ideas for how to make the lights on the underwater camera appear.

...but instead, someone else redrew the scene in their style and finished it. So... while I'm not going to point fingers or get mad at people, this request(and all future requests as of this moment) is over.

Comments are disabled because I'll be scrapping this later anyway. When I disable comments(which really is the thing I want the most out of art), that strictly means I don't want to deal with people trying to tell me 'oh it's okay' or 'don't feel bad, it's a good work of art'. No. Disabled-Comments coming from ME means "you're going to get blocked if you mention it".

As far as I'm concerned, this is an unfinished, left-open conversation between me and Ryuu. And if communication is repaired, this artwork might be finished. The reason I'm submitting unfinished work is because I put effort into it, and now I don't know if it will be finished or not. The point of disabling comments is that I don't want people butting in and trying to comfort me by insulting him.
