Description This thing is huge, I will admit that. It is inspired by a few sources, a map of a Portuguese Empire by MarcosCeia and 'Persia Triumphant' by QuantumBranching. As you can see it is a collection of maps showing the Germanic Realm and its overseas territories in an alternate world where the Roman Empire never expanded into Gaul. There is not much more to say, so I will let the map speak for itself.

In-universe: The Germanic settlers noticed the same things that OTL Spanish settlers did and named their cities accordingly.

In reality: I am a sucker for historical parallelism.

Really? I decided on giving Germania a capital along the Rhine, as it acts as a good middle point. Given that Belgium is in-between modern France and Germany I can see where you are coming from with that perception.

I can safely say, though, that Belgium does not exist in this world and indeed never did so in the first place.

then why are west pomerania, silesia, east germany, and southern jutland not part of Germania? that I'm seeing is not the True Germania, unless u add east germany, southern jutland, silesia, and pomerania.

In the early medieval period the area we know as east Germany was inhabited by Polabian Slavs. In our world they were eventually conquered by the Germans and were assimilated, with the modern day Sorbs being all that is left. In this world those Germanic peoples that would eventually settle there are instead settling in Gaul/France. There are just not enough Germanics to colonize both Gaul and Wendia. So in this world Wendia is a Slavic state.
