Description kindof a generic equine base for various things but primarily an upcoming project for a donkey partial. There will be a little bit of editing in foam on the cast piece to get a more species-specific look. This will be a base for future equine use-your-own eye masks that I make

The only problem, really, is that horses eyes don't point forwards.

You can see a clear difference is authenticity when you compare masks from Wild Gasmasks and Furry Fantasy.

The WG masks have forward looking eyes, and though the masks are cool, they are not that realistic.

The FF masks on the other hand, have a much more realistic shape and eye position, and as a result look much nicer ... IMHO ... the downside is that the wearers vision is somewhat impeded ... a bit like a horse!

... in face it makes the wearing experience more realistic as you find yourself adjusting your head, much as a horse might in order to compensate.

Wich would matter if I cared about mimicking herbivore eye position. It dosnt interest me to realistically proportion or eye-place eyes on my masks because Im combining animal and human shapes to arrive where I want to go since I specialize in use-your-own-eyes masks. Not purely animal anatomical realism.

I don't mean to denigrate your work, for it is truly amazing ... sorry if I offended.

I would love to have such fine and detailed work, but for me, I do find the more authentic line more aesthetic.

By way of an example, I am particularly fond of this persons work...

Kind regards.

No this is a thin cast plastic shell under the fun. It's very light.

I like it! Can probably easily mod it for unicorns too. Kinda want to see what you do with that cut out along the jaw.. What kind of material is this?
