High School of the Dead is a pretty good anime, it's just.... Porn-ish/ fetish-y. No, I do not watch it because there are girls in skimpy school uniforms, I watch it for the gore. And humor.

haha yes, i agree helsing is coted as one of the animes with most gore in but what can i say, i'm a total horror lover. Ghost in the shell was really a good anime, especially if you enjoy the deep plot ones, eg. Death Note, that one was psychological just as GITS. It's a sci-fi anime, around idk, 2030 if i remember well, i Japan. It also has a lot of action, great fights and cybernetic bodies. The animation was great indeed, it was like watching a movie, really... and also the soundtrack is considered to be one of the best ever made for anime

yeah lol, and well the book it's not that gorish how many said, well fine, the crimes may be a little off put and disturbing but the way it's written doesn't pull that out. I remember how "an interview with the vampire" is, the whole scene is described so well that it gets really disgusting in a few spots

Really liking the rough shading/colouring here. I do think the hand is too samell but itΒ΄s not too big of a problem, since IΒ΄m really liking the atmosphere and expression here.

and as for animation: how about Aeon Flux, a personal favorite, awesome animation and freaky art. Some others might be Trava: Fist Sky, Fooly Cooly and Samurai Champloo. I donΒ΄t watch that much anime :I

Wow, this reminds me of "A Scanner Darkly" (which is a great but weird film), the lighting's great and the bodies look great as well (though the hand's a bit thin).
