Description

A note about Gerudo fashions in this comic: for this version of Hyrule, there's a country similar to India south of the desert that the Gerudo trade a lot with (and sometimes scout out boyfriends from). Due to this cultural exchange, there's going to be some Indian-esque influence on Gerudo fashions.

I'm looking forward to eventually drawing a full traditional Sari outfit in this comic because they are so gosh darn pretty~

(BTW this country isn't on Hylian maps because they don't really know it exists. The Gerudos don't let anyone know about it because they've got a really great racket going with the trading situation).

I really love hearing more and more about the day to day lives of the Gerudo people in your comic. You've thought it all out so well, its great!

Hahaha thanks! I'll go right ahead and admit that there is SO little info given on them and how their society would even work that I'm just pulling a lot from the Amazon Greek legends....and in adaptations of those legends.
....So in other words, if you see anything later that reminds you of the Amazons in Hercules: The Animated Series I deny nothing!

I dunno why, and I know that the Gerudo are based on people from the Middle East (Maybe? I always thought that.) but Ganondorf's mother-in-law makes me think of a stereotypical, overbearing Jewish mother. That's just me though.

Oh my gosh! That's so funny! And it fits! Heehee!
And I agree, they seem to be (at least somewhat) based on people from the Middle East.
