There is this one scene in GT when Goku and Vegeta are losing against Omega Shenron. Majuub asks Gohan to fuse with him, and Gohan patronizes him for no reason and simply doesn't even want to try. First of all it always pisses me off that Goku gets wished back to life so many times and that he has to be the one who wins almost every single fight. But that combined with the weak excuse, and the wasted potential if frustrating. So here is what it might have been like if Trunks and Goten had fused with Potara earrings into Trunten and Majuub and Gohan do the fusion dance to become Uubhan.

Instead of Goku making a a Spirit Bomb for the 900th time, would anyone have been disappointed to see these fighters fuse, and then you could see Mystic 2, and Super Saiyan 4 instead?

Personally if it was up to me, everything went downhill in the Buu saga when they brought Goku back. In my opinion, Trunks and Goten should not have been super Saiyans so young. Gohan and Vegeta should have killed Buu, and in GT, Trunks Goten Majuub and Gohan could have beaten Baby, the 4 of them plus Vegeta could have beaten Super 17, and the 5 of them could have beaten Shenron.

The only thing we lose out on in my scenario is SSJ4 Gogeta. I admit it's a big loss, but with the multiverse theory, we can have it both ways. My alternate timeline is simply one of many possible outcomes in a different dimension.
