LOVE your rope work! I've just spent the better part of 3-4 days trying to figure out how you accomplished the "ridges" along the vertical strap. It looks like a solomon bar at the base of it, but there's some extra twist for the sides/ridges I can't figure out (there's something similar in this one ).
Is there a name for that bar/sinnet style? Or just something you came up with?

There probably is a name for that style sinnet, but darned if I can remember it. It's made from alternating half hitches.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction - I think I've got it (or a reasonable facsimile) figured out.

This, and the majority of the rope I use, is 6mm diameter hemp rope. I've recently begun switching over to jute rope, but hemp is very nice stuff.

This seems to transcend bondage to simply an art from of "rope fashion". Absolutely stellar.

This ropework is AMAZING...
I wish that one day I will be able to do this which brings me to two questions...
1. What type of rope is this and where did you get it.
2. where do you recommend I learn all these beautiful knots

1. This particular rope is 6mm hemp from Twisted Monk . Much of the other rope I use is from [link] >Kinky Ropes, and is also 6mm hemp.
2. If you want to learn a lot of knots, I highly recommend Ashley's Book of Knots (ABoK). It shows all kinds of knots, many of them usable in bondage. If you want to learn specific decorative bondage ties, Two Knotty Boys are pretty much the standard. I will also be releasing educational material in the future.

Will you be releasing educational material soon, and how will you announce it?

That's gorgeous. I play with rope myself but this has given me reason to rethink how I do a lot of things with it.

This is VERY cool. I love the butterfly-ish look of the knot/weaving at the bottom. Heck, I could see that as the back of a fancy halter style shirt! Wonder if I could rig something like that...
