i like the movies to some extend and yet i think apocalypse will be awesome

I love the X-men, and if this recent trilogy didnt carry the X-Men name, nothing would be all that different, they'd be another divergent or maze runner, but with really good acting and production quality. IĀ“m not sold on Apocalypse yet, sadly...They spent 5 movies where Magneto turned to be the final baddie by the end, and now all the sudden they skip decades of villains to go for the top of the top? IĀ“m sure a lot of ppl are dying to see that, is all good. But in a matter of preference, iĀ“d prefer an actually faithful adaptation... At least for once.

Honestly, I think what Marvel needs to do is go the same route as DC and reboot the whole Marvel universe. They've made a lot of choices recently that many fans dislike and even outright hate, and because of these choices fans are starting to turn away from them. I think if they rebooted the whole thing and started from scratch, like DC, they might get back a lot of the fans they're losing.Ā

IĀ“m not sure Marvel needs to take notes from DC at this point in time. Sure the cracks are starting to become obvious, and of course, at some point there will be a reboot..But until they don't recover X-Men and Fantastic 4, IĀ“m kind of fine with what Marvel has to offer when it comes to movies. Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Doctor Strange, the new Spiderman movie, Captain Marvel, AntMan and the Wasp. I think those characters still deserve a shot at least in a movie.
In the comics, the marvel universe got a reset recently.
