Well, here is my second picture of Ikkar....sans bag over head...He has just finished a project which will result in his Happy-Happy Pills...(Explaination will come later...)I must say, the Mindflayers head is damn hard...at least the traditional way of doing it...
Shall try out my own method next time...

I have to agree. The head is awesome, but the body seems out of place. Since an Illithid is typically very thin and this Ikarr is very broad. I like the little flask and pills. Is it due to Psychic powah?

Ah yes...the flask and pills are floating thanks to the power if his mind...at least they will when he is in a state to control his mind...
As for the body...I admit i messed up the head of that one...the original idea was that the head would be much bigger...and ur right...some what on the broad side...oh well, learning xperience, learning xperience...

That's what art is all about. Getting better. Trust me, I should post my stuff from a few years back, they look like emacianted boxes with alien eyes.

I am having trouble with that...i will try doing the basic frame underneath next time...currently i am taking poses from manga and such to try and get a shape and feel to it...
Any suggestions to prevent the body from becoming too flat?
