I've been doing drawings like this for a while but this one is sort of special because I mixed up my colors a little bit more (ala Disgaea art). Rather than just using darker and lighter values of the same color I used Complementary colors (mostly). ie. on his boobie grenades I used a red. Also, you may have already noticed that I didn't use cast shadows properly. I'm sorry. I finised the drawing and I didn't really feel like fixing it. Maybe next time. Back off. Hopefully the giant baby monsters don't eat me before then.Related content

I see the red you were referring to, it's a nice touch. And don't worry about the shading, I do it improperly all the time... o.O It's very detailed, and I like the way you crosshatched the background around him ('cos it looks so much cooler than just blank space). Awesome anatomy and coloring.

This's an awesome Rolento. The crosshatching in the arms remind me of Araki's style in Jojo's Venture.

YEAH DUDE! That was kinda the idea. It's awesome that you picked up on that. The shading's kinda arbitrary on purpose in his work. Have you seen the sCRYed graphic novel? That guy has that style too.
