A few years ago I would have been ecstatic over seeing Juri in Gmod. A few years ago. Now it's about three years after I begged, petitioned, and talked about bringing SSFIV models into Gmod. No-one gave a damn about it, even when I stooped so low to suggest they could be made nude. Incentive is everything. Now, after a community of horny hypocrites got their greasy fingers on Juri, one of their members finally uploaded a model. Oh, here's the kicker: nude capabilities. I'm older now, so I wouldn't have much of a problem with that, but it shouldn't be her main selling point. "Juri Han comes with balloon tits, posable pussy, and luscious legs for sex poses. Try her out on Cammy. Oh, and I guess if you wanted to, you could use her for non-erotic poses or fighting scenes... but that's just silly. Juri's a hooker/pole dancer/stripper, not some fighter." Yes. I'm well aware that the name of the game is Super Street Stripper IV. How silly of me.The model has bad fingers, questionable physics, and the clothes always seem to want to come off. It would have been better to make two models, one with bodygroups and one without.
Oh yeah... Why was it that this alternate costume model was uploaded first and not her regular outfit? Wait, don't answer that. I already know...

great pick! excellent Juri Han introduction! I must say you did a great job with the posing! Dzoo's Juri Han is one of the worst models I've ever seen... Dzoo did a gorgeous job on this model, but he/she made a really BAD BAD BAD BAD model choice. She has really big foot and hand fingers.. her weights are just broken... and she has a glitch with her thighs/pants.. good image though!

So this is the GMOD version of our lady? Well, the proportions are pretty bad...like, yes, it's one thing for people to want to give her giant boobs, it's another for them to make them sit two-thirds of the way down her chest. Like, most boobs don't sit that low, it looks super odd. Like, look at them. Look where they start...they're like stretchy ovals!! And it's pretty clear they enlarged her chest but didn't worry about filling out the rest of her body, because that waistline is not only way too small, it's way too high on her body. She just looks so odd!!! Her she has like, double wrists or something!Β
Ehm,....please don't tell me that's actually what it says in the download for her model. Please tell me you made that up. Posable pussy? Umm...wow, how...how do you pose that? If I could give the benefit of the doubt, working with those boobs was a massive headache for me. The bra/shirt kept clipping through her skin so I did whatever I could to get that purple ring into view. I may have made them sag, but as long as those puppies were covered, I was satisfied.
No, don't worry, I made most of that description up. It actually says "Pussy posing" and "Boobs with phybones". It seems that Christmas has come early... Ack. Well, seeing Juri again has made me think. I may just go back and do some editing of a chapter. Remove a blemish or two. Or a wedding.

Don't you miss writing about Juri? Β I am incapable of neglecting one of my muses for too long. I'll do a sketch of Alvida but then I'll have to do one of Juri too or play some SF, but then I've left Madam out of the loop so I'll have to re-read my Kuroshitsuji volumes. Do you still have the figure I gave you? Don't you see her and think of your fics?Β

I do miss writing about Juri, I do. I'm just out of good ideas. Don't get me wrong, there are thousands of ideas that I have, but most of them involve Juri trying out a myriad of awesome fighting moves or fighting an exotic new enemy. Fantastic for XNALara or GMod, but not much to carry me to writing. I have little to no interest in continuing the two WIP stories, much to my chagrin. I hardly look at her figurine anymore. I come home tired from work and plop down in my bed, then, when the morning comes around, I hop out and start working on the farm.Β
Removing the wedding... The idea didn't come easily. I think that my perception of Juri had changed so much from that point on that it seemed weird to write out all that. Ideas of her cracking jokes, being a wise-ass and defending her pride from a hospital bed seemed like an odd idea as well, but as time passed, I think I saw the logic in it being there in place of the last chapter.
Hell, I'm getting worried that I'm neglecting her, and then again, I'm worried that I'm not playing Patchouli or Koakuma right.Β

I miss you writing about Juri. You perspective of her is different than mine, but it was nice to see an author writing about her seriously Β instead of the usual tripe about her. Unfortunately my beta and I are running into the same problem...we see the same plot outline, but his thoughts on what Juri would do are different than mine..and unfortunately I have written myself into a corner, a corner which he challenges I could never actually write.Β
Good ideas will come. But it is hard to find the time. Your fics are always very detailed and lengthy, perhaps you could try paring things down a little. I could churn out large fics like that in high school, but the busier I got with "real life" I no longer had time for the luxury of a grand multi-chapter One Piece adventures on the high seas, and I took more enjoyment in "slice of life" fics and one-shots. Less time to write and easy to read. I think there's fun to be had in one-shots about Juri and her eccentricities. Trivial, ordinary things can become fun if you're using fun, outlandish characters, like Juri. (Or Alvida doing the laundry suddenly turns into the melodrama of the century.)
Here's a plot bunny for you, use it or forget about it. There's a thunderstorm in Bangkok and Juri's private jet is delayed. She is forced to go to the airport and catch a domestic flight to her next fight. How the crap is she supposed to get through airport security and can she manage not to call attention to herself??Β

JJ would end with a good hint that they would get hitched. I really liked how I ended Clashing Fangs with a bit of banter regarding kings and queens: Adon fancies himself the king of the jaguars, Juri thinks of herself as the spider queen. Problem is, Adon doesn't want to share a throne or have a woman next to him, and Juri doesn't want to be second to him should a relationship happen. As a result, there are bound to be conflicts, which is just what Juri wants.
