Description

Right when I got back home from work, I started this new drawing of Blue from Blue’s Clues! My fifth drawing with the character (counting my paper drawing that I released in 2017), I did so after realizing that earlier today was the 25th anniversary of the first show to spark up my drawing interest (later getting me to draw electric-type Pokémon and video game consoles before I started going a lot further with this talent after watching The Amazing World of Gumball many years later), all thanks to the clues that the show is famous for making its viewers solve with the host! (Had to do so while it’s still the night of the anniversary as I post this; probably the day afterwards for some of you reading right now) Speaking of hosts, I’m sure you’ve all seen the video by now with Steve Burns talking about his history with us the viewers, and it warmed my heart as someone who simply couldn’t get enough as a toddler! Thank you so, SO much Steve, and everyone else who helped you and series creator Traci Page Johnson (even the follow-up hosts, Donovan Patton and Josh Dela Cruz, the latter with Blue’s Clues & You!) bring this show to the hearts of millions of kids and parents everywhere, myself included! This is my first drawing in the Blue’s Clues, Paramount cartoons, Nickelodeon, and Nick Jr. categories after I came out as transgender (which reminds me that I’ve still got drawings based on Blue’s Clues & You! pride shorts to do).

Blue’s Clues is owned by Paramount and Nick Jr.
