HOLY SHIT THIS TOOK A PHAT MINUTE
so a few days ago i watched the Addict mv and OMG I LOVED IT!!! so i just had to make fanart i redrew the one scene at the end where angel looks in the mirror and it shows Valentino with control over him.

ok ok now Valentino is definitely an asshole to poor angel but i also love his appearance in the show cus he really gives angel a story and adds more to his personality at first i thought angel was just a regular draq queen/ stripper or smth but now after seeing this music video we really see angel dusts story and the abuse he goes through which i find so interesting so yeah valentino is a mean freaking rat but without him Angel wouldn’t have a story. I really would love to see more about angel’s relationship with Valentino and everything that goes on in the studio and how he got into the studio in the first place like how did he meet valentino did valentino hide behind a fake persona to get angel to trust him and act like he loved and cared for Angel? that would be really interesting to see because as i know psychology wise narcs aka narcissistic people hide behind a charming persona to later manipulate their victims into a loop of which they can never escape. they act all sweet and caring but then abuse their victim and then go back to the sweet persona it confuses the victim cuz they are torn between thinking the narc is sweet and kind and actually gives a shit about them but then abuses them so the victim is disoriented and unsure what to think so i wonder if Angel dust is going through this. since Valentino calls him Baby cakes or Angel cakes and treats him decent in public but behind closed doors abused him sexually mentally and emotionally and physically and psychologically. Another fun fact this Manipulation used by narcissistic people can also be used to force the victim into doing bad things in Angels case drugs and sex. Angel is ADDICTED to drugs because of Valentino. a Narc basically has the victim in a spell like form and is able to manipulate and control the victim in their own cruel ways in my opinion Valentino is a Narcissistic pimp that uses Angel for money and for his own sadistic fun. he gets a high out of abusing Angel as we see in the limo when he forcefully grabs and tries to kiss angel. by his expression being a large evil smirk we can see he enjoys what he’s doing and gets a high out of abusing others like most Narcs do. it’s interesting when you think about it. i dug a little deeper into the psychological relationship of Angel and Valentino. Valentino also doesn’t abuse Angel in public when we see the abuse it’s usually when it’s him and angel at the show Valentino didn’t directly hit or try to do anything sexual with him or hurt him instead he used his own sneaky approach using the smoke to “lure angel back under his spell” we see angel start to slip under his control Valentino uses the smoke “to lure him back under his control” Most Narcs do this if they feel the Victim slipping away then they use their own manipulative controlling tactics to lure the victim back under control
as being a Victim of being controlled by Narcs and under the abuse of Narcs and knowing people who have been controlled by narcs like Angel is i know what it’s like and thats why i’m able to dig in and analyze their relationship so well
