Nice headline. And all the photo....i don't know, what to say. But my feelings are very mixed. But.. i have to say - This shot is awesome.

I like the chiaroschuro, and wonder if you could've moved a tad bit to the left to avoid the flare on the face of the mountain, where it juxtaposes with the dark cave. I think you could dodge a bit more on the shadows on the right to bring out some details that seem to be lost in the darkness. . . or just use the zone system and make your shadows around a zone 3. Could you apply a ND filter to make the sky more defined too?

so many comments..so many beautifull thoughts about your photo..in fact it's more than a photo..and you know it..and you're proud..but do you think it's about us concerning the beauty off a photo?i think that it's not about us at all..it's about our fortune..and our lucky,cause if we are lucky- human beings,then..we can take a worthy photo...it doesn't matter...can't u see?!

I completely agree with you and I think that what you are saying is very true!!
I have always thought something similar myself... I mean, the image is there. The beauty is there. It's all there... Like you said- it's all about how we see it. Whether we see it or not... whether we are even open to seeing... But for those of us who are lucky enough to be able to take our time through life and see - really see - THAT'S what it's about!!!
So, to me, photography isn't so much about US *making* beautiful images, it's ALL about sharing what we've "been lucky" enough to see and experience and live...
