Acostasaurus pavachoquensis roaming the open, shallow tropical seas of what is now Colombia, 130-120 million years ago. The 5-6 meter-long pliosaur shared its environment with fearsome giants such as Kronosaurus boyacensis and Sachicasaurus vitae, in addition to other various creatures such as the elasmosaurids Callawayaurus and Leivanectes, the turtles Desmatochelys Padillai and Levyachelys cipadi, and the icthyosaurs Muiscasaurus and Platypterygius sachicarum.HodariNundu
