Yup, carnotaurusβ name means βmeat bullβ and sure enough so many artist have tried to depict it as red with black spots and stripes...like me!

true i do see red and black being a common colour scheme, maybe the est of the world all agree that it is just super fitting for carnotaurus

yeah, the black is a great complement to the red and makes it look better than just being pure red

Sure it does. In my opinion other abelisaurs would have had orange, bronze and reddish color schemes with black stripes and spots as well...

maybe they did, maybe they didn't
remember that apart of the colours is due to the life they live, looks at lions and tigers for example, both Panthera but DRASTICALLY different coats due to the locations they live in

And especially leopards to jaguars as well. So abelisaprs did not belong to one genus of reptiles; they were a family of them, consisting of multiple well-known genera.

Panthera is a very diverse genus of big cats though, but they all have a skeletal structure and skull shape in common
