Description EDIT 20-2-19
Adjusted the contrast. Made some shadows on the branches darker and reinforced the lights. An old piece, but I still like it.

Acrylics and a bit of colored pencils on toned paper.

Woah this is amazing! Teach me your ways!!! I'm still trying to get ahold of colored pencils lol. Anyways, amazing piece! I love all the detail, the colors blend very nicely. Also, that branch looks awesome! Just the texture and pattern is right on!

Thank you very much!
ahah I'm afraid I'm not a good teacher xD but feel free to ask if you have questions.
I learned pretty much by myself just experimenting and looking at other artists works.
This is mostly acrylic paint, I used colored pencils to add just a few final touches here and there. It took a while to make the branch look right! at first it wasn't coming out very well but eventually I managed to get a result I was happy with.

You're welcome! Thanks for the advice! I guess I was just wondering if you used a certain technique or something like that? I'm not very good with paint, but I hardly ever use it so I guess that's why xD. Practice makes perfect so they say

Ah I'm just trying to keep it loose and sketchy because I like to see the brush strokes in the finished work.
And yes, I believe that's true, practice is the way! xD
