from Ch.20, tom riddle's visit to hepzibah's crib.just a sketch i ran some messy ink and colors over in OpenCanvas today. the locket is apparently emitting it's own light.. dunno what's up w/ that x). just playing around with shiney colors

Very well done. I really love your use of light it is not to dominating just subtle. And the facial expression really conveys the char. I would say that is one of your best talents. It's easy to sit and draw stuff all day long it is hard to really capture a moment in time and be able to tell what the subject is thinking. KUDOS!!!
The amount of work you put out is great.
I used to be able to do that until my second year of collage then all I had time for was sketches and school projects. I just graduated and finally am able to do some of my own things. Maybe actually put some of it up.
So did I read that you are going to school for animation is that right? Good luck with that. The best advise I can give you is put together a demo reel and start trying for internships. At the moment I have one (unfortunatly unpaid) but it is a book with a dvd thing that follows it with about 6 minutes of animation that will be sold on Amazon and Barns and Nobles. So as a Assistant animator it is a good thing to put on my resume. I waited, but I wish I would have just thrown my stuff out there left and right.
Keep it up. When you get some animation done make sure you put it up here. Love to see it.

Wow! The colors in this came out really well- I especially love the fact that the locket *is* giving off its own light- it's an intersting play with light and shadow, one which you've done extremely well (and have once more put me to shame. You inspire me to work harder!) I've only one critque, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way... It's just the left hand- the one holding the locket- seems a bit skeletal... I know it's just a sketch (and that I couldn't come anywhere close to drawing as well as you), but the hand was kind of bugging me.... Sorry, it's minor, I know ^_^;;;
But again, love the lighting, and his expression is pretty cool too. Great job!

To repeat what everyone else has said "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinny." But beyond that I thought I'd tell you that I really love the lighting from the locket, it gives it a strange forhadowing and the Dun-Dun-Dun like feel from the movies (If that made any sense what so ever kudos to you.) And I generally all around admire your art work.
