Finally managed to finish this! Drawn from scratch from the pencil sketch, to the border design and line work, to clean digital linework, colour and shading. Naturally the shading took the longest. This character doesn't actually have a name yet, but I felt I had to give her a shot the moment I saw her. This piece is rather large and full of detail! Please zoom in. I decided to call it 'Silent Innocence' because, despite the blindfold, it was because she doesn't have a name for me to speak of; she is also a cute and innocent character, so this combination led to the artwork title choice. When the character is given a name I might change the title, for now it is this. ^^ I had to sadly rush a few parts of the dress as I ran out of time and there was no way I wasn't gonna get this in after all the time spent on it already. XD WIP images for this will be loaded later, just needed to make sure I did this in time when I had very limited time to work on it.

My style is generally detailed, hence the time it takes. Plus this is my usual style for most things. I will be uploading the WIPs at some point when I get all the screenshots together into one file. Honestly, the roses took the longest to paint out of everything. EDIT: Oh, and the border of course--the border and the roses were the most time consuming elements.


I watched Nickelodeon quite a bit as a kid/teen, but all the shows springing to mind right now don't fit my style in my head. Was there any particular show you were thinking of?

Thanks so much! Things have been so hectic and busy this last month or so that I didn't think I would finish it in time. I will be putting most things on hold for now so I can sketch my raffle winners and at least  digitally line them.
