hehe I actually like Gaara better when he was mean. He seemed happier, he smiled and laughed a lot more even if it was for evil purposes. Then when he got older he was just mellow and always looked depressed.

I totally agree, I mean what's the deal? Making him turn around and try to make something of himself besides a weapon of terror is tolerable, but did they have to diminish his personality down to almost nothing??? He isn't even excited during battles, he just stands there and gets the job done like a math professor.

A lot of them do though. Maybe he's just the only one who does it right. I just don't understand why they took so much of his passion or at least his visible passion. I think that was what made him so interesting when he was evil.
