Her eyes shone in the moonlight,Underneath the starry black night,
A star lit up in the distance,
She tried to reach out and kiss it.
She ran away today,
She ran away, far far away,
She ran away from the pain,
But is she coming back again?
He wanted her and he got her,
But I don't know why he bothered,
He left her and didn't say,
And that's why she ran away.
Her clothes were torn to peices,
It's her family that she misses,
Her hear is pounding like a drum,
While she doesn't know where to run.
She ran away today,
She ran away, far far away,
She ran away from the pain,
But is she coming back again?
He wanted her and he got her,
But I don't know why he bothered,
He left her and didn't say,
And that's why she ran away.
She got to the bridge,
At the end of the ridge,
Tears ran down her face,
As she fell out of place.
She quickly jumped off,
As she fell with a cough,
She tried hard to hide,
But this was her suicide.
He wanted her and he got her,
But I don't know why he bothered,
He left her and didn't say,
And that's why she ran away.
She ran away yesterday,
She ran away, far far away,
She ran away from the pain,
She's never coming back again.
