More Ico and Yorda!This was taken during the 2nd part of the shoot, when we went to Ft. Castillo. Unfortunately we weren't able to go inside because they don't allow "professional" photography inside (I was SO upset about that).. But we got some shots outside of the castle.

I'm sure there is a good reason for this, but it's too sad. I had for a long while thought of taking cosplay photos in there before--I guess I know not to ask now. :/ I'm glad you got some there on the outside. I can think of very few places in Florida that suit Ico so well. Super job!

It's actually because they don't allow professional photography. I was there with a large group of cosplayers and 3 photographers, so the person in charge thought that they'd kick us out.

Anyway, awesome photo. I didn't know you had stone castles in the US. At least in the sense of military fortifications.
's plank (come to think of it, it was kind of science-fictiony for ICO from a certain point of view...) FTW. Well done for putting up with thosw shoes and going barefoot as well, neither looks very comfortable with that terrain.

XD Thanks! Yep, this was at St. Augustine, which is the oldest city in America. The Spanish settled there originally and built forts. It's neat, I've been there a bunch of times. I love that city.
Yeah! The stick was a lucky find. My dad had some wood laying around and it looked really weathered. She actually had two sticks, one that looked completely weathered, and this one, which looks like it was burnt at the tip.
The shoes/lack thereof was tough for both of us XD Her shoes gave her blisters, and well, my feet just got burnt. I tolerated the unbearably hot ground most of the time, but there was one shot (which I probably won't post) where the ground we were standing on was so hot I couldn't handle it... And I have a high tolerance for pain, lol.

XD, fascinating. Lucky you, most of the castles around Britain were wrecked in the civil war (although there's quite a few hill forts).
I've had to walk on ground like that too (when I was a kid and I visted the seaside the roads got quite hot on the 2-3 days a year the sun actually came out). Nasty.
Maybe you should have swapped shoes for a bit so the heat would cauterize the blisters.

Lol, that's a good idea XD I had some sandals with me for when we weren't taking shots and just for getting around but... Yeah XD My feet still hurt for a few days afterward.
