welp here it is, the main goal of the photoshoot i went to on thursday!it took quite a while to get the shots and i was pretty tired by the time it was done. but i shouldn't complain - rocky died in the process. but it's okay, it was his purpose in life to get shots like this!
so yes, the rock is real (in a way) and not photoshopped in. the rock is made from chicken wire, paper towels, and plaster bandages. it was painted with stone colored spray paint.
i wish my hair wasn't completely in my face, but it was crazy windy outside that day and there was no controlling it

What would you think of making a real life action Avatar: The Last Airbender movie? I've been wanting to do it for ages, and you already have the costumes/cosplay down... pretty damn sure if we find a few more dedicated people we could make something awesome (even if it turned out like shit, it'd still be better than the movie that's currently out).

I showed this picture to a friend and they asked if it was from the live-action movie. That should tell you how awesome it is.
(It actually looks way better than the movie! Your pose is much better than the bad-looking martial arts from TLA.)

sorry but it's a lot more difficult than just sending a design. i altered patterns and i can't exactly scan those - plus i don't mark my patterns like normal patters, and it'd be too difficult to explain. i suggest looking for some patterns similar to what toph's clothes look like and altering them, making muslin mock-ups until you get it perfectly right.

This is so amazing. <3333 It looks so realistic, especially with your good strong stance being the way it is. 
I personally like the way your hair is in your face in this photo -- it gives the image a dynamic, action-y feel, like you've been moving around quite a bit, whether for battle or for training, and simply don't have time to stop and do things like fix your hair. Besides, I doubt that Toph would care if she got hair in her eyes anyway! X]
