Reserved, hotheaded, impulsive and temperamental, Nate is the physical embodiment of a brooding moody teenager in all it's glory. Easily frustrated and quick to anger, especially in tense situations, he's quick to lash out verbally or physically without thinking. Nate is very reluctant to talk with others of his own free will, as he finds unfamiliar people difficult to trust or get along with unless they earn his respect somehow. Often sarcastic, stubborn and pessimistic, often arguing or fighting with others if he doesn't agree with their opinions or methods. Despite his short-fused temper and recklessness, Nate is quite perceptive and intellectual, enjoying books on almost any subject to help pass the time and learning some new facts and subject matter in the process. To the small number of friends he does keep, he remains fiercely loyal to them and would pick a fight with anyone or anything that would threaten to hurt them.

[The End of The World Party]
On October 31st, Nate and two friends made a roadtrip to neon sign junkyard in the Nevada desert outside of Las Vegas for a college party. During the party, several of the swarming digimon attacked, causing mass panic as the consumed costumes, props, and items from the junkyard, sending hundreds of teens and young adults screaming and running in terror.
Staying together with his friends, Nate managed to locate his car and try to escape, only to drive into a small town to seek help after his friend pleaded with him to help the other party goers. However the town was soon attacked upon their arrival with gas stations exploding from creatures eating through fuel lines and power cords. Grabbing what he could from his truck before it was consumed, Nate followed some other teens to an alleyway with his friends in a blind panic and suddenly fell through a strange sinkhole and landing... some place strange.

A dark haired girl holding open a portal reached out her hand and said 'Don't worry. We have a second chance. Come with me and we can stop this and save the world.' Of course, Nate thought this was bonkers. But then again, everything else he's saw in the past few hours has been bonkers. It was a simple choice: Stay and get eaten by some huge monster, or leave with her and hopefully be able to save everyone back home.

[Safe Zone]
Arriving in the Safe Zone, Brooke introduced herself before taking him to meet with the other survivors known as 'Tamers'. To his surprise, his friends had managed to survive and end up here too, granted both rather roughed up after they got separated with their very own strange animal monsters too who seemed familar with each other. After catching up, the friends explore the safe zone and come across a large bulletin board. The message board filled with photographs and messages asking if they've seen family members or friends, after looking around the board, Furomon presents them with an old, worn out polaroid photo of the three humans with their digimon. The humans stare at the photo in confusion, having never met the monsters before, nor taken a photo of them...

Personality:
Mischievous, childish, naive, innocent, unpredictable and clever, this little digimon is not to be underestimated, using it's size, agility, speed and cunning to swiftly subdue its enemies. Furomon is best described as having the personality of an annoying little brother you can't seem to shake off. Very open and honest, Furomon has no problems socialising and interacting with humans and digimon alike, unlike his human partner. Loves to joke around, playing and pranking humans and digimon alike. Likes to be hopeful and optimistic, much to Nate's annoyance. Being overall a very positive little digimon, Furomon dislikes acting serious or having something bring down the mood, he'd do his best to avoid things getting more grim and overall try to change the conversation or form some type of distraction. His childish personality makes it harder for this digimon to deal with problems and will end up running away in more ways than one.

Extra:
- Much like Sugar Gliders and Flying Squirrels, Furomon has a fluffy glider like membrane stretching from his wrists to his waist, enabling him to glide through the air, or fly in strong winds.
