I really like how your characters look like actual people instead of some random anime person. Yet, they also have qualities that are a bit exaggerated or unrealistic. In this piece her eyes steal the show, they catch your gaze, and immediately take center stage, even though the background is pretty wiggy. Reminds me of fall, with the leaves scattered about, and the colors in the back remind me of the leaves on the ground, slowly turning brown and turning into compost.
It...sounds less romantic and insightful when i say it like that, but its a nostalgic feeling that i'm enjoying right now.

This is lovely!! I love how well the colors you chose mesh together, with the impressionistic background doing such a great job of enhancing your character (I suck at that). I also just love the color scheme in general!
