O hai, long time no HTTYD fanart! I should be very ashamed of myself.. But whatever, I've wanted to draw this scene for a loooong time haha. But I hesitated because of the fire. I wasn't really great at drawing backgrounds but now that I've improved a little bit I decided to try, and I think it looks good xDThis is the sixth fan art drawing of HTTYD I made for a little project of mine, to draw a scene from the movie to every soundtrack of the movie! This one is for the "Counter Attack" soundtrack, where Hiccup and Toothless battle the green/red death and fall into the flames.

I'm really happy with the flames, I didn't think I could draw them but I did my best and I think they look good c:
I did use a little texture created by `hibbary but you can barely see it x3

Does anyone else think that Toothless bit Hiccup's foot off trying to grab him? Just a thought.

He did not bite his leg off and he did fall head first but as he fell toothless barley saved him he could ent fly out so he fell in and as he did he didn't get hicups leg completely so that's how it hapend I like the 1 way better than the second, one it was cool and all but I like the friendship building in the better in first one.

I've never given it that much thought, but that must've happened because Hiccup fell with his feet toward Toothless. If anything his head would have burned rather than his leg. And they didn't show if it was a bite or burn.

Dreamworks confirmed that when Hiccup fell to the ground Toothless couldn't completely wrap his body around him and he pushed Hiccup's left leg into the ground, badly burning it.

Yeah....I showed this to my cousin when we were watching the movie for the millionth time and she just went all wide eyed. But I guess only DreamWorks knows to true answer to her movies.
