Ironically this coincides with the 20th Anniversary of the Hellboy comics.Which are a marvelous treat thanks to Mike Mignola's art and storytelling.
I have to say if I had to pick top three fictional characters it would be Gandalf, Nemesis the Warlock and Hellboy/Anung Un Rama.

I think this is truly charming (that wasn't sarcasm). I didn't realise it was Hellboy until I saw the crown, and then it clicked. Quite nice; I've only seen the movies, but like this for the colouring and design. You always have a nice way of decorating your art

This is my take on what Hellboy 'should' look like, IF he were to follow the 'family business'.
He associates so much with humans that he lost the majority of his demonic heritage...definitely got looks from his dad. lol

The BPRD tales are dark (wow, Del Toro being dark? Noooo~) but highly enjoyable. Much action, such wow~

I love the Hellboy series so much. Have you read any of the books? You might like the one where Hellboy and Abe go to Scandinavia to stop Ymir the frost giant. :3

You know, I saw the movie first, then I got interested and read the books.
THEN I realized like with most movie-book stories there was a lot of changes, but I still enjoyed both.

That's the same thing I thought for Hellboy, but del Toro handled the source material well enough while putting his own spin on things. I haven't read the BPRD ending because I don't want it to end.

Ymir came back. The Norse mythos exaggerated a few things, but not the hammer or the frost giants. In that way there was leeway for the author. And three were dwarves which was awesome.

Awesome! I love the evil shading you got on all the fleshy red bits and the flowers are a nice contrast at the bottom there!

Thanks, I usually just use one blender brush when mixing color. Over the years I learned how to handle it a bit better :3

yes.Β That make me think of my stable char who demon that went from bad to good and want poeple to trust her even thought she a demon.
