Yeah...that doesn't make sense to me, still. Darkness is the opposite of light. Shadow is still just darkness. I think a more logical system of elements would be fire (aka: heat), ice (aka: cold), water, lightning, earth, wind, light, darkness, and life/nature.

Maybe to you, but I believe otherwise. I don't see ice as the same as water. Ice simply represents the true element (hence, why I also called it "cold", and fire "heat"). Actual ice just happens to be frozen water, and fire is just the release of heat energy from the burning of something else. Also, plant life may be different from animal life, but they are still both life. They are both biological matter.

Metal is part of earth, and forest would probably more accurately called earth, as earth includes "forest" too. Unless, of course, you separate biological forms (aka: life) into a category of its own, in which case, bio/life would be a separate element that includes forest and living matter.

well... to us Forest is Earth. but with a few changes. the Earth you know is plant life and rock/dirt. ours is only the plant life because ground to us is hardened lava which is part of the Fire element.
