..3rd page of the Spawn sequential im working on,.....now this is an example of what happens to a preliminary sketch when you drank too much coffee & red bull. this is not the way to do it...i know. cant help it. just remind me to control myself into turning a prelim sketch into a finished artwork.. will post the the finished pencilled page ( again ) later.

That's hilarious! I do the same thing. It's starts off with just some simple panel thumbnails to full on pencils. I think it just getting into the story and really jamming with the characters.

you wanna know whats really hilarious?......this was supposed to be just a thumbnailed page of an approx 8" X 10" paper that i was going to blow up & tight- pencil under a light box,....i ended up doing the darn thing in an actual A3 size paper ( 11.7" X 16.5" ) coz aside from the fact that during the time i did this was a holiday here in manila ( 2 or 3 days without an open establishment or mall ( in observance of Holy Week ) meaning, i didnt have any access to a photocopier machine ( which obviously i dont have, i dont even own a printer..im just a poor schmuck )......i was so anxious to get it done so i took the liberty of punishing myself with a long & stupid method,..it took me about a couple of ( A3 ) pages ( painstakingly ) to finally get a satisfying looking panel layout....in 3 days! ha!...i hate myself.
anyway,.. maybe it was the cofee!

i have that on dvd...one of my all time favorite disney animated film along with Sword In The Stone, Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians etc.,..you gotta love those 60s & 70s classics. they have a certain organic appeal to the artwork.

haha wish ko lng ser! pansampol lng tong mga pages na to...for submission pa lng, blacking study...sinetup ko lng yung gapang ng blacking specially sa last 4 frames,...nasobrahan lng sa gigil kaya kulang na lng kulayan ko na. hehehe.
