(just a note- a few of the recent Casters are non binary, hence me using they/them in descriptions, though you're welcome to choose she/her/he/him and so on if you want. It's not something I'm fussy about, I just like the lack of restriction when I'm designing.)

★A fire Caster, they have excellent control over their magic, and use low levels of heat to dry fruit and other foodstuffs to sell, giving them an edge over other traders.★

Inventory-
★1- An old staff, used to channel their magic
★2- A mysterious lantern, the flame inside never seems to dim
★3- Candied ginger, a particular favourite

I'm editing the way I make Casters, I'm going to use the trait sheets if I ever get around to making customs, but for now I find it too restrictive in my designs, so I'm going with the flow in terms of horns, markings and tails. I've also found that hand and feet colourations tend to unbalance the design so I'm probably going to use them less frequently!
I will mention if any design has a mythical trait, however!

The bio may be disregarded, and small design edits are ok!

Species Info

Casters are a magic based society, descended from dragons. Along with inheriting dragon like characteristics, each Caster is born with a magical affinity, although their skill and power varies. The more powerful the magic, the more highly regarded the Caster. The upper classes often arrange matches to increase the magic in their bloodlines, and send their children to prestigious schools to maximise their potential. The lower classes are less fortunate, often their abilities remain weak and untrained. Basic magic classes are compulsory, along with the usual mathematics and geography etc. These lessons usually only cover the basics of controlling magical outbursts, making it difficult for the lower classes to rise above their bracket. However, the less powerful casters have a lot more freedom, they can choose whatever profession they want, be it a baker, artist or blacksmith. Those with stronger elemental powers are expected to find a related job, a fire elemental may choose to become a soldier, or a spirit elemental a healer. Those born without magic are commonly ostracised, and dubbed Castouts.
