i worked really hard on this so FULL VIEW PLEASE!
Looks like i wont be needing a digital painting tutorial anymore
maybe for the hair but i managed to paint the skin using only one layer 
This is my first 'realistic' digital painting and it's of Katharine Isabelle, my favorite actress. she acted in Ginger Snaps and some other movies
oh, and the funny squiggly things on the bottom read 'Keruton' its Hiragana for 'Kelton', my name

she's my favourite actress too! have you seen falling angels? thats my favourite kat isabelle film...
this is a good try, it looks a lot like her, especially the eyes. i think the only thing i have an issue with is the hair, it looks too uniform and the texture of the brush is too evident. maybe try to use a variety of brushes on it, rather than just one.

The lighting is just amazing. Especially the way her eyes glow, and the shadowing on her lips. I'm so impressed, digital is so not my strong point.

It would take me forever...*sigh* I dun haf my own comp either..sharing with my other siblings.. so wouldn't haf the comp to myself....only ahving turns on playing Sims2!! Oh yeah!!! That is such a good game!!! Love it!

I know.... it used most of my new ramp that we got!! It sometimes works really slow and have to restart everytime I play Sims2 soo annoying...hate slow comps...

Yes, very nice. I love how you did the skin. The hair needs work though--it looks like you worked really hard at getting the skin tones and values right and added in the hair in the end just so it'd get done. There was an excelent tut. that someone came up with...hmm...ah, here: [link]
