Merlin, greatest sorcerer of them all. After the final battle against Morgana le Fae in the 6th Century, Merlin was left almost completely drained of his magic and retreated to his home, the Crystal Cave, and fell into an enchanted sleep to recover. Finally awakening in the far future, Merlin was shocked to discover how much he had missed... and disgusted at the savagery and barbarism that now ruled so much of the world. With his magic fully recovered, Merlin sent out a psychic plea for help, seeking warriors who embodied the same ideals of Camelot that he could forge into a new fellowship of knights. Now, Merlin acts as mentor and guide to the Spectral Knights, teaching them how to use their new magical powers and pointing them to the places where they are most needed.
