I'm especially proud of this pic because this is my first-ever sketch in a non-eraseable medium. It's done with a BiC 0.7 fine black ballpoint pen, and thus I can't erase the construction lines.

Sagwa the Siamese Cat is a simple children's cartoon based on a children's picture book of a similar title. Not preschool though. No interaction with the viewers, unlike the other Playhouse Disney Channel cartoon I promoted, Little Einsteins . Every episode just presents and solves a simple moral dilemma, ending with a simple moral lesson for the viewer presented usually as an insight of the main character. It's simple, and it gets to the point. Did I say it was a bit cute too?

Here's a drawing of the main character, aptly named. The two chinese characters in the upper right is the character's name in Chinese. The three little characters above Sagwa's head represent actual lyrics from the opening theme song of the show: "hao peng you" meaning "good friend".

I think the song goes a little something like this, do forgive me if my romanization is flawed...

"hao peng you /
hao peng you /
sher gwa shi wo de hao peng you /
Sagwa you're my best friend..."
