Description
Hova didn’t sleep that night. Maybe a half hour at best, but she mostly laid awake in her own tent, secluded from anyone and unfortunately left all alone with her thoughts. They were quite loud, and she didn’t appreciate the volume this late. When she felt the sun hit her through the material of her tent, she thought it best to get up and do something. Now that Hova thought about it, she hadn’t bathed in two days. Maybe it would be best to do that in her free time.
Conveniently, there was a lake right behind the tents, so she figured it would be best to bathe there. And luckily, from what she saw, there was no one there. Grabbing her swim suit — a simple white wrap around her breasts and bottom — she delved into the water. It chilled her, her eyes blending in with the water. When she emerged, she let out a satisfied sigh and began running water along her arms.
"I take it you’d like to be alone?" The voice sure did startle Hova, as she turned around to see Gunnar. He must have just been passing by, as he stared down at the almost nude female, but there was no sort of enjoyment in his eyes.
"Oh," she placed her hand on her chest, "Gunnar you scared me," Hova laughed awkwardly, tapping her wet fingers against her skin.
"Sorry," he said and walked over to her. "Didn’t mean to startle you."
Hova leaned her head back into the water, allowing her dark locks to soak whilst she noticed Gunnar take a seat at the edge of the lake. Leaning her head forward, water spilled from her hair onto her shoulder, and ran down her chest into her cleavage. Gunnar, however, couldn’t have looked more casual.
"That’s okay."
"I take it you don’t mind me staying here while you wash up?" asked the male.
Hova shook her head, "Nah." A quick dunk under and Hova was ready to ask him some questions. "How did you sleep last night?"
"Pretty good, thanks. Dev snores, so, it was sort of distracting. But, it was nice to just be under some sort of cover for a night," Gunnar explained. He let his one leg out from the other, and tapped his show against the surface of weak blue.
Hova let her arms sink into the water next to her and faced Gunnar on the shore. "Are you two brothers?"
"No," Gunnar shook his head and smiled, like he had been asked that before."We just belonged to the same clan. Never really talked much, but we were both exiled at the same time, so we thought we might as well travel together. Safety in numbers, right?"
Hova nodded, the next question seeming to be the easiest one to ask after his little story: Was his previous clan the one who gave him that scar? However, she didn’t know if she was allowed to ask him. She would have to remember for next time to ask him. He probably was already asked about it with Gaelle and Tejali.
