Fanart of characters from The Host.Literally my favorite book of all time.
I think people need to stop all the twilight hipe and start on The Host wagon cause it's so much better. In this book Stephenie Meyer ditches the whole "i've known you for a day and i'm already in love with you!" realationships and actually creates some character development. Not only that but this book isn't just about love, it has adventure and deep emotional involvement, if that even makes sense. I recomend this to anyone who loves a good book. And if you're a twi-hater, trust me this book is FAR from anything like Twilight.

EDIT!! After re-reading the book I realized Jared had dark hair with sun-blenched highlights in it, not blond, so I changed it.
Also, can't wait for the movie that's coming out. Not so sure about the actor playing Melanie though....we'll see.

Yeah. She was a b***h. But every story needs one so I liked her for that. Plus the fact that she was a heartless alien. Probably had something to do with it. My least favorite was probably Kyle. He acted like a jerk a lot. Especially to his brother.

I remembered she described him as having "sun-bleached hair" but after re-reading it again recently, it was more like dark hair with highlights. I'm going change it. lol.
