Description
I was on a service call in Odessa Florida and I saw this slug slugging across the sidewalk. I ran to get my camera before he got away.
I got two hq macro shots. This one was the best because you can really see its skin texture and black dots that look like pupils. If you look really close, you can see the mite that is hitchhiking on the slug's back.

Hmm, this slug looks a bit dry on the back. I guess that's just how it looks and it's actually pretty slimy to touch. Poor fella, that mite sucks... literally and figuratively.

It just finished raining when he crawled out of the sod and onto the sidewalk. I guess that's just its normal texture.

Reminds me of the time my family went to San Diego and we saw a snail on the sidewalk. We were all so dumbfounded we crowded around it to watch it.

Yeah photograph it quick before it gets away. 
This is a beautiful photo. I just love all the textures. The slug is glittery and neat looking. And even the ground with all those pebbles looks great. The lighting was perfect. Yes poor thing he's only got that one blemish. Darn parasites.
