Description
"the last metroid is in captivity, the universe is at peace."2nd attempt at plushie metroid. along with his own containment unit! part of a cosplay for AMA. i'm going to be one of the scientist on the station studying the metroid. and doomed to be killed by ridley. oh well, what are ya gonna do?
plushie is made out of thread and fleece. with stuffing. container is plastic, styrofoam, paint and some bolts. how i miss the days when i had access to a shop where i could have made this out of metal and plexi. though, it is light weight at least.
metroid copyright to it's people and etc.

That. Is so cool. The container is really neat too, and the idea of suspending it with magnets is really awesome.

thanks. it's not quite hovering, that's what i wanted to do, but it may not be possible.
the original idea was to have a magnet inside the metroid, and then one on the bottom of the container pushing against it, and another in the top of the container pushing against it as well. turns out, hovering something that distance with just magnets is probably not possible. well, without using magnets sooooo strong it would fry electronics nearby.
anywho, this is achieved with magnets still, but not the way i wanted. can't give away all my secrets.
