I guess I'll try to explain this one...why not?

Ok, well one line.heh:

"The ironic scoot was written then"
This line was written on a stubs concert wristband. I went to go see Sonic Youth, one of my all time favorite bands!!!! Anyway, I was near the front right waiting for the first opening band to start, and I'm looking to see if there's anyone I know behind me, and I just so happened to see Thurston Moore not to far back: geeky glasses on, drinking a beer, and just kinda nodding off into a daze. I yelled out "YO! Thurston Whore!" He opens his eyes quickly and looks over my way directly. He squints and makes this lazy grin, then walks over saying "ha, you kinda looked like a friend of ours at first." "I wish." "Don't fret honey child...give me that there wristband over yonder, and don't read this till after the show...it's VITAL!" He kneels down and writes out something, gives it back, winks, and walks off. I stare, dumbfounded...and after the show I pull the band out of my pocket, and it says "Ironic Scoot". Still don't know what it means...although it probably means that he thought it was ironic that I looked like one of their friends...or he just mumbled of some drunken scrawl as always...Anyway, that's my storey of that one line.lol
