To be honest I say WELL DONE!!
I say this because thanks to Raditz's appearance, this keeps Goku occupied, connected as brothers, get the fusion thing off Vegeta's back because he keeps whining and nagging about fusing with Goku thing means he hates this a lot. Don't get me wrong I like both Gogeta and Vegito but it's Vegeta's problem with working together thing also?

Becasue of Raditto's pragmatism and being more powerful than Vegito, here are the battle suggestion:
1. SSG Raditto vs Beerus - SSG Raditto would have give Beerus a better fight but as long as Raditto doesn't get Beerus at full power, he will be fine.
2. Raditto Blue vs Golden Frieza - In What If Vegito Stayed Fused, Vegito and Freeza base form in evenly matched, but when Vegito goes Super Saiyan Blue, similar to Super Buu, Vegito Blue toys with Golden Frieza and beats him before becoming bored and finished him off. But if Raditto Blue fights Frieza, it would have been an anti-climatic and curb-stomp battle between them because Frieza never trains his Golden Form and proceed to get revenge on Goku. Also, SSB Raditto wouldn't play with Frieza and proceed to finish him quickly. And Raditto would taunt and call out Frieza for getting his revenge first and not training his golden form.

Since Raditto is stronger than Vegito because of blood-related. I wish that there is a Super Saiyan God Raditto. Also, how strong would Super Saiyan God Raditto be if he goes against the God of Destruction, Beerus. According to some sources, Beerus would use his full power against Super Saiyan God Vegito and would take his battle with him seriously and Vegitto would still lose. But, what if Beerus battles Super Saiyan God Raditto. While Beerus would still use his full power against Super Saiyan God Raditto, would Raditto win against Beerus or still lose. Here are 3 choices:
A. Beerus has a slight advantage against Super Saiyan God Raditto
B. Super Saiyan God Raditto is equal to Beerus
C. Super Saiyan God Raditto has a slight advantage against Beerus

I don't think he would be stronger than Vegito, because there is no proof that being related by blood makes a fusion stronger.

I think that Raditto was considered to appear in Break Through the Limits if BTtL Goku chose to fuse with Raditz instead of Gohan but during that time, it is impossible to make him appear or nobody ever thought of it. I believe that if there could have been a "Dragon Ball Super" adaption of Break Through the Limits, he could have made appearance, particularly in the Goku Black arc. Here is the chapter:
