Thanks so much for making this! My yusei wig got bent up at San Japan and then the wind at AnimeFest finished the job so I have been wanting to do another Yusei wig! Your wig(s) looks so awesome! Thanks for sharing how you make your cosplays! You've helped so many people!

This is a very helpful tutorial!! It makes me wanna cosplay as Yusei
Could I use the same felt method for a Sora KH 2 wig? I plan to make one in the future and I just need a better visual before making it. Ive made a Goku wig so Im sure its sorta similar.

It always amazes me how you take time out of your busy schedule (especially now) to pay attention to your fans and help us along as we aspire to cosplay at your level. Your tutorials are always well thought out with us in mind, trying to help us, rather than keeping "secrets" and things to yourself. Your kindness, friendliness and compassion is as much of a reason to emulate you as your cosplay and artistic abilities. Thank you so much for your time and effort. I love the tutorial...and yes, your skills have improved greatly.

Wow awesome tutorial but one thing I didn't get was the part where you had to glue in more black hair. Where was it placed? Could just be me being a blind bat XD
Thanks for this it might give me the confidence I need to actually try and style my own wig that has scary spikes XD

I glued the hair to a couple thin strips of the felt.

Oh I see then i assume that you glue that underneath a layer of hair so that it is all sneaky and hidden. Thank you for the help greatly appreciated and damn Yusei has epic hair i mean how on earth does he get it under that helmet he must have a TARDIS hemet or something XD

That's really incredibly helpful!! I've never been very good at styling wigs, and I'm trying to get into doing my own, so these tips are like, a Godsend. XDDD Plus, your wig looks amazing - it's perfectly clear how much you've grown as a cosplayer and how much love and work goes into these things! Talk to you soon!

Awesome job, it looks fantastic! I don't suppose you know of any good tutorials for armatures? I've never heard of them before, but they look really useful for making wigs with spikes.

Armatures is a term used more commonly in sculpture work. It's a framework that provides support for the material built on top of it. What you use for an armature really depends on what kind of shapes you're trying to make.
