Entry for projecteducate 's All Mediums Contest: One Word, hosted by Mrs-Durden , Link: All Mediums Contest: One WordAs I am lot in meditation practise, I have chosen a nice frog as a motive for my photography. The frog is a master in patience and endurance but also in sitting still, as is used in meditation. Contemplation is just another "meditative" word. Frogs are also symbols of birth, fertility, birth, regeneration and the circle of live - which also creates a tight connection with meditation insights and practise or as well you can find sitting like a frog in Hatha Yoga asanas, too

I had a pet frog once.. We fed him crickets, they would sing all night and keep us awake

I wish! That would've been awesome. Mostly they just made noise and kept us from a good night's sleep.. I remember lying in bed some nights hoping that the frog would get hungry, so we could have some peace and quiet.
