One of the other reasons I've been pretty inactive is because my IT group are in the first stages of developing an IOS tamagotchi like game.This is just one example of an almost pokemon like evolution of one of the available pets.

I like that each of the creatures evolutions tie in with the previous evolution, they are reminicent of Pokemon/ Digimon but I still feel its original enough to stand out and make an impact. I think that the colours used work well together and give it some character. The colours make me think of dusk and night.
Very cute chibi style baby evolution form. I like your use of yellow as a spot colour to make the eyes stand out, and the stripe pattern on the tail. I feel it's an unusual and creative design.
I like the tribal influence i.e. the feather "earrings" and tribal markings on the face of the final evolution. I also think the spots work well inplace of standard eyebrows.
Makes me interested to see what other creatures will be available and makes me want to play this game.

Ok, the first thing I have to say is the colors on this, their not all rainbow or very colorful, but it's a change. They are cute. I really like the poses you made on them, and plus it's pokemon so it's nearly my favorite thing. The eyes were awesome, and you did a very good job on the wings as though I could not do that in my life. The coloring was amazing, I liked the spots and the extra details added. I agree with the post below that the last two stages need to have more of a difference. What to add/change to make them different, Im not positive cause Ive never worked with evolving characters, and appearance wise they both look great! Sorry I cant be of more help!

I like the concept but maybe a bit more differences between the last two? Maybe add more head feathers to the last one so it is more noticeable.
