Okay, this was my submission for ‘s contest. won 1st place
The theme was Darkness and this is what I came up with. Of cause Bakura can have bad days too! Actually I think that the most of his days are bad XD Getting beaten in children’s card game constantly! Poor him
It was so fun drawing him in the original simple style! It’s not so often I do that ^^
And it was a great opportunity to practise and try some new things with my copics
Blending some colours and see how they react. The only colours I‘ve used here is blue and grey colours. Hope you like this picture ^^

Wow! I've always loved that SEXY trench coat of his! In fact, I JUST LOVE HIM! That trench coat makes him seem more sinister than he already is! Too bad he didn't keep it during the season finale! Oh, Yami Bakura has been EVERYTHING to me! He's my life, my love AND my inspiration! I'm NOT A CRAZED FANGIRL! I just love him so dearly! Ever since I saw Yami Bakura, I knew I was falling in love! However, I didn't fall in love with Yami Bakura instantly! God Himself was the very one who had caused me to fall right back in love with the Spirit of the Ring, causing me to love him even more than I already have. Yes, I'll admit that I had forgotten about him, but now, since God had helped me out, telling me to reconnect with him, I love him even more than I possibly could love any anime character! God told me to take a journey with Yami Bakura and see what's wrong with him, which I did when I watched the TV series and soon, I learned why he was so angry. Taking a journey and exploring his life, understanding him better, caused me to fall even deeper in love with him. And yes, God made me keep a Promise to Him: NEVER STOP LOVING YAMI BAKURA, because I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD LED HIM TO YOU!

I love this...I feel like it expresses his everyday sadness that he hides behind his mask of hatred...and when he's alone, it comes back to him. He looks exhausted. Well done!

I like this a lot. I this supposed to remind me of when Picasso did all of those paintings in shades of blue because it kinda does. I think your depiction of Bakura having an emo period is super special awesome. I love that he's wearing his awesome trench-coat. Also, nice detail on the Millennium Ring.
