I like "Fill you full of lead's" title better but what can ya do... So this is Mallykatt version 3.0, whoop! Couple new changes to the outfit and gun etc etc... so for those who care, read on!First! I wanted to use the original colors I had intended for my Mallykatt persona, which was camouflage/ military-esc. Granted I didn't intentionally picture the bulletproof vest and utility belt, but I really like the idea of them now, especially with so many of my friends enlisting in the army... I guess this is my lame way of tributing to them. I might add dog tags with their names later...
Second! Straight hair? Yes, definitely. Why? Its easier to draw, more fun to color in my opinion and I've been manning the straightener more and more lately...
Third! Buttons and a keychain cow on a weapon of mass destruction? Uhm...HECK YES! Each one means something special to me ^w^! And the guncil has now been officially named 'Charlotte II' in honor of my paintball gun 'Charlotte'...this is her little sister xD! And those bullet shells on the ground are actually plastic sheaths that hold the lead in place in these kinds of pencils [link] (no my pencil isn't cool enough to have transformers ) Anyways, hope you like it! Very nice, I believe you should draw larger (higher pixel rate) though, for all the detail you put into these pictures they are quite a bit smaller than the average single character pictures I come across. (thats not a critique just a suggestion).
Also, any reason why you didnt color in the shells or stock on the rifle? Just curious, but looks good. I know as usual you spen many hours on this, the boots and other army details look quite believeable and detailed.
Seems youve established a style your happy with, at least for the moment...this is a good picture too because the face is notably different from many of your characters in your story, which is believable and good to show that you not only change style with characters within a universe but also your capabilities as an artist.

I'll post a larger version soon, this was sized so that it would fit in the 'devious information' section of my profile. Well the shells are actually those lil' plastic things that hold the lead in with those push-refill pencils (or w/e they're called lol) so I left them white...the barrel is suppose to be see through, I guess I failed at portraying that though!!!
Glad to hear you approve otherwise though! Hopefully I'll establish ONE style I can be happy with lol! And that maaaaay be viper nora, yes >:3!

I... can't think of anything to say. This is insane! Your anatomy is usually dead on, but this?! Just... wow. Pin-up status? Methinks so. Not to mention those are some badass boots.

Now THATS a compliment in my book! Thanks ninja, I can always count on you to notice the most painstakingly difficult area in one of my pictures, those friggin' boots were a pain xD!

I just calls 'em like I sees 'em. Quite a bit of detail in those there boots, so I can only imagine how difficult they were. Looks like your guncil has had a bit of a redesign as well... I especially like the new eraser shoulder block on the end of the stock. (... I don't know gun terms at all. -_-)

lol, most of my stuff is made with tuts, i suppose thats good, we all learn off each other. My problem is the actual drawing part, im reasonable at colouring and finishing but i just can get the lineart down.

I think everyone struggles with nailing the lineart, lawd knows I redo poses over and over til I'm happy with it. Don't give up, keep on drawing

Like a really rough 'stick man' sketch? Yeah, just as a starting point and then I add details as I go

i will try that, but in the past i have never got the proportion right, and sometimes the limbs were at weird angles.

I like to take a photo of a person and then use that as a base for the lineart, never looks as good as i hoped, but practice will make me better

Exactly, keep practicing! Its really difficult to actually draw whats in your mind initially, or at least I think so, so I totally understand
