heya! so not the coolest weapon ever, but i didnt have many daggers in my gallery. figure id throw this on the interwebs.daggers can be pretty fun to make for sure.
also according to deviantart this is weapon #75, ill have to do something BIG for #100.
also - people on the internet need to stop taking the name "malmida" on stuff.... its not like im even that popular really. i cant use my name on any site relating to weapons lol. and the whole "digital blacksmith" thing really got out of hand. i think it was original for a week.
ALTHOUGH! i did get the name "God" on CGhub, lmao. made it within the first hour of the site being created.

ouch! though it does not look like it was rendered as well as your other stuff?
also just on a side note, you keep saying these weapons are for a series of some kind?
i mean you have never posted any kind of character art, im not saying thats a bad thing, i cant model anything living either.
on a super side note, i make weapons on blender, instead of autocad, why do you use it?

heh, ya this definitely wasnt. quick project this dagger.
and yes, mostly all of my weapons come from one story. which ive finally started developing (hereΒ www.indiedb.com/games/regal-arβ¦ ) although this game will be the introduction to the overall story. ive actually posted quite a lot of character art. under my drawings tab in my gallery -Β malmida.deviantart.com/galleryβ¦
although its true none of them are 3d models as of yet. but that is because im working in autocad, which is terrible for organic models. or at least the version i usually work in. and thats a good question! i work in CAD cus its the only 3d modeling program i ever learned lol. i picked it up my first year of highschool, architecture became my favorite class. which was great because there was like 8 of them. but i fell in love with CAD because of it. im learning maya at the moment, and 3ds max soon.
that being said CAD is pretty terrible for 3d modeling. but its the most exact and precise form of 3d modeling you will ever find.

though i do wonder if your ever going to use the weapon models
(also i released that you had done art work of your char after posting,

no not these models. theyll serve as concept art for now. these models are not optimized at all for games.

Ooh... snap. Should've mentioned there were spoilers.
Yeah, it's an awesome weapon. Eight unique attacks of amazing versatility, slices through Mechon like butter, can predict the future and it looks FLIPPING SWEET.
Also, Xenoblade Chronicles is an awesome game and I have faith that X for the Wii U will be even better.
