Look at those teeth!
It always amazes me the bear-trap of teeth my golden has in his mouth, such a savage looking creature and yet he's so gentle and loving.

thanks for the advice!
it really gives it more impact, but the pic loses the "pure happiness" expression.
will submit the "more impact version" to my scraps.

thanks a lot!
i usually photograph dogs with a telephoto lens... and the auto-focus < --- this is useful to shoot pic series.
prepare cam, call for your dog, and shoot, shoot, shoot, ...

I like it! It really shows the action and the title is perfect!

Wow! Really impressive! You did so well to get the face in focus with a shot like this, and the fact that the rest is out-of-focus really adds to the sense of speed and highlights basko's expression!. A great photograph!

thank you!
im not yet familiar with my new cam, so i used the automatic "action-shots" program, with the "focus-follows-target" -autofocus. used a telephoto lens.

blimey!, that sounds a very handy camera indeed, to have programs like that! I did wonder if you must have used a telephoto, else Basko would probably have run straight into you just after this was taken otherwise. Whenever I've tried to get tightly framed photos of dogs I always get them coming right up too close to the camera and then there's just a big blurry nose

in my opinion, every good cam has such beginner-programs.
i have lots of "big-blurry-nose"-photos from my old (slow) cam..
