My entrance for wolvenstein 's raffle. I'm just classifying it a contest to keep things organized.It's his feline character, Charcoal.

Hello, I'm fromΒ ProjectComment and I really like to comment on your artwork (In advance: Sorry if my English is weird):
First of all I chose your picture because it caught my attention right away because of the big contrast with the dark fur and the bright shining, orange eyes. Your style seems like Manga to me as you made a very big head with big eyes and ears and also the strong strokes to make the fur look fluffy support this. As I have already mentioned I really like the idea of the strong contrast- not only with the eyes but also with the scarf but still the focus is on the eyes because they are brighter than the orange parts of the scarf. The light reflections in the eyes are also the brightest colour in the picture which supports your focus.Β Every part of the picture looks matching because you took great care of sticking to your style. For me it's just not clear on the right is the shading or if it is just another colour of the fur, I suggest you to work on that a bit. Besides I would recommend you to draw the middle of the eyes a bit darker maybe. I feel like it looks a bit to unnatural although it's Manga style. I believe you did a great job with this picture especially with the choice of colours: They all match each other and give me a warm and welcoming impression. In addition to that I think your cat is very original with the scarf and these impressing eyes. I hope you keep working well and that my comment gave you some support.Β
