Description
This is my final piece for my art GCSE, painted over the course of two days (4 hours first day, 5 hours second day). It's painted using Oil Bars. For those who don't know what that is, it's like oil paint, but in bar form. You can use them like you could use pastels, ie you can smear colour all over, and then smear on more colour, and then use your fingers for bleding in. So much easier to use than paints I think...
Anywhow. Our theme was 'safely contained'. I was first doing some metallic car parts, kinda getting the feeling that they are contained within the car itself, but then my teacher mentioned how I could have some of the rustiness of the car parts blend in to a form that was like a fox... and one thing led to another, and I ended up drawing lots of animals in it
So yeah, enjoy!
(Oh yeah, and some of the colours have been mangled quite spectacularily by my digital camera and its flash... sorry about that)

Love the one where its baring its teeth trying to get out and the car parts seem to bulge out at that part. Love the different shades on the car parts.

I love this. I hope you did some good research because it would be a shame for that to let your grade down.
